Depression

You are not alone!

What is depression?

Depression is a medical pathological condition that may affect every person, without differentiating age, race, gender, background, or socioeconomic status. It affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act.

How it feels?

It can start with long periods of sadness, or absence of interest in daily activities such as studying, working, or sharing time with family and friends. Simple tasks like cleaning, cooking, waking up in the morning, or taking a shower, can become more difficult, and the lack of energy may turn deeper. The excessive regret about the past, the worry about the future, the lack of motivation to face challenges in the future, or the feeling of being unable to continue, generate in the person the thought that dying is the better option.
