The only requirement to live a happy and long life is to “Eat healthy and live healthy.” But unfortunately, with the rapid expansion of fast-food and convenient ways, the whole world has adopted such a system of consumption of foods, consequently, several detrimental health issues have been occurred. In the article “Diet and Health”, it is mentioned that diet plays an important role in terms of obesity with the eating disorders. (Ogden, 2007). Furthermore, Ogden (2007), states that eating disorders are linked to obesity and obesity is associated with major physical problems such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke, some types of cancer. All these are life threatening diseases. However, healthy diet reduces the risk of life-threatening diseases and promotes good health. Furthermore, Ronzio (2017) in his article named “Food” states that the processed foods are most likely loaded with saturated fats, synthetic preservatives such as BHA and BHT, artificial colorings and flavours, consequently, they are deficit in fiber, essential vitamins and minerals. In addition, a saturated fat intake is associated with major risk of cancer and coronary heart disease.
